CD IELTS Exam System

The CD IELTS test is conducted entirely on a computer, except for the Speaking module, which is a face-to-face interview with an examiner.

  • Listening (30–36 minutes):
    • 4 sections with 40 questions.
    • Audio is played once, and answers are typed directly into the system.
  • Reading (60 minutes):
    • 3 passages with 40 questions.
    • Includes various question types like matching, multiple-choice, and true/false.
  • Writing (60 minutes):
    • Task 1: Summarize data or describe visual information.
    • Task 2: Write an essay responding to a specific argument or issue.
  • Speaking (11–14 minutes):
    • Face-to-face interview with an examiner, including 3 parts: introduction, cue card discussion, and follow-up questions.
